All the Money in the World

In the early 70s’ while in Rome, 16-year-old John Paul Getty III is kidnapped by an organized crime ring and held for a ransom of $17 million. John’s grandfather Mr Getty is an oil tycoon billionaire and the richest man in the world, John’s mother Gail seeks out her ex-father-in-law in order for him to pay the ransom and free John. Mr Getty decides against paying the ransom as his mind has become clouded throughout the years of living in excessive wealth, he believes it is not necessary to pay the fee. Working with Mr Getty’s advisor Fletcher Chase, Gail tries to find other alternatives to get the money but nothing eventuates. Soon a piece of John is mailed to Gail and she realizes its now or never, if the ransom isn’t paid her son will die.
