In Casablanca 1942, Canadian intelligence officer Max Vatan encounters French resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour whom he works with for a brief mission to assassinate a German officer. After their successful mission together Max invites Marianne back to London to be his wife and she accepts. The couple live a peaceful life in London with their newborn baby girl until some shocking news turns Max’s life upside down. Marianne is assumed to be a spy working secretly behind her husbands back, if this turns out to be true Max will be forced to kill his wife otherwise he will be hung for committing treason on his country.
