Derek Vinyard is a Neo-Nazi leader looking to make a change in his neighborhood after his father was killed. Filled with hate and looked up to by other young white racists, Derek builds his status quickly when he kills two black men who try to steal his car. While serving three years in prison Derek has a complete change of heart when he is faced with the reality of his meaningless anger, meanwhile his younger brother Danny is aspiring to be like Derek and follow his steps in hatred. Upon release Derek tries his hardest to convince Danny of the dangers and lies of his previous lifestyle in order to save him from going down the same path, though it may be too late.
