DC Universe Animated Original Movie, After a few years abroad Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham city and only 12 years after the death of his parents now feels ready to put on the mask. At the same time Chicago cop Jim Gordon and his pregnant wife Barbara also move to Gotham, Jim is an honest cop but soon discovers he is surrounded by criminals within his own workplace including his boss. Gordon and Bruce find their own ways of fighting for justice in a city full of crime and deceit, their paths cross occasionally but the two never actually meet face-to-face. Eventually Jim Gordon realises that Batman is the only other real hero in Gotham and the two secretly create an undercover task force thatwill become thebeginning of Gotham’s crime clean-up.
