It has been many years since Bill and Ted where prophesied to create the song that would unite the world and restore order to the universe, though now getting older, struggling to maintain their marriages and performing small-time shows have them wondering if they should pack it in. When the excellent duo are visited from the future, they are told if the song isn’t written and performed by 7:17pm, reality would collapse entirely. Bill and Ted decide to take a trip in the time machine once again and reach future versions of themselves in order to get the song, meanwhile their daughters, Thea and Billie are also time traveling into the past to assemble the greatest musical talents for the performance, including Mozart, Hendrix, Armstrong and Ling Lun. A trip into hell and recruiting ‘Death’ is also on the agenda, the ‘Wyld Stallyns’ will soar once more.
