While doing some maintenance on an apartment, tough ex-con Corky meets the mysterious woman next door, Violet. The two quickly become lovers but when Corky becomes aware of Violets crooked money laundering mafia boyfriend Caesar, a dangerous plan sets in motion. Caesar has retrieved two million dollars that was stolen from his boss, Gino Marzone, and after making it clean he prepares to hand it over later that night. Corky and Violet scheme to steal the money, act as though it was stolen by Gino’s son Johnnie and make off with it when Caesar decides to cut and run, though he never does. The plan becomes more convoluted when Caesar reacts in an unexpected way and the girls are left to make it out with the cash without suspicion, though it will be a near impossible task.
