Boxcar Bertha

In the 1930’s during the Great Depression, Union leader Big Bill Shelly and young runaway woman Bertha form a small group who stand up to the oppression towards workers and plot their revenge on the management of a new railroad. The star-crossed lovers stop at nothing and quickly develop a reputation in the American South as their fugitive names become famous. Over time Bill and Bertha are separated and reunited multiple times falling in and out of trouble with the law and experiencing other sides of life, but in the end the gang all ends up back together for one last bleak showdown.
