Frank Pierce has been an Ambulance paramedic on night shift in New York City for the past five years and as time goes on Frank finds himself slipping into a depression and being unable to cope with all the accidents he sees out on the streets every night. Haunted by ghosts of the victims he could not save Frank is loosing his mind and fights to keep grip on his clarity. Mary Burke is the daughter of a heart attack patient who Frank has taken an interest in, but will his job get the better of him before he can help Mary get through her fathers comatose state
