Citizen Kane

Millionaire newspaper tycoon Charles Foster Kane leaves the world behind with one final mysterious word ‘Rosebud’ before his death. Scrambling to find the meaning behind the word, reporters go back to important people in Kane’s life including his ex-wife and old work friends and colleges. We see Kane’s infamous life through flashbacks to milestone moments including the beginning of his newspaper the New York Inquirer, his marriages to Emily and Susan, running for governor, his childhood and his later life living in isolation in his own palace known as Xanadu. Will ‘Rosebud’ be the key to making sense of this larger-than-life figure or will it all amount to nothing but a word?
