While looking for a high-end marketing job in New York, young Brian Flanagan realises experience is needed for almost any career of great worth so he reluctantly accepts a job as a bartended working for Doug Coughlin. While learning the tricks of the trade Brian realises how much he loves bartending so he decides to take a job in Jamaica running a small bar out on the beach. While in Jamaica Brian falls for Jordan Mooney who is holidaying, the two spend everyday together and start to plan a future together. Not long after Brian’s love of money takes him on a steep detour away from Jordan and into a life he thought he wanted.
