Description:
During the 70’s New York police officers wanted a safe haven to live close by to the city where they wouldn’t be effected by dangerous city life, known as ‘Cop Land’. Freddy Heflin is the Sheriff of the small New Jersey town of Garrison, he lives a quiet life and is beloved by all the officers and their families. It soon becomes obvious that officer Ray Donlan and his pals are corrupt and hiding mob connection secrets, they also plant false evidence at crime scenes and will do anything to get ahead and protect themselves. Freddy is approached by Internal Affairs officer Moe Tilden with suspicion that Ray is hiding his nephew after he allegedly jumped from a bridge after unintentionally killing somebody, and now Freddy is torn between his comfortable life and the opportunity to come forward alone and clean up Garrison, starting with Ray.
