Crimson Peak

After a troubled childhood involving the ghost of her dead mother Edith Cushing has become an aspiring author and is hoping her work will be taken seriously because she is a woman. Out of nowhere a tall dark stranger known as Thomas Sharpe approached Edith’s father Carter with an invention of his that is turned down, though now Thomas has his eyes set on Edith. Soon Edith falls in love with Thomas so they marry and move into her new husbands old warn down mansion with his sister Lucille. After a little while Edith’s perfect life is turned upside down when she realises the mansion is crawling with ghosts and the house itself seems to be alive, Thomas reassures her that it is just an old house with many creaks and groans but something more sinister lurks below the ground that Edith will discover before long.
