While responding to a domestic disturbance call in the Bronx, NYPD Sergeant Ralph Sarchie, and his partner, Butler, begin to follow up similar and related calls that night at the Zoo, all revolving around abuse. The following days, Sarchie follows up a series of related crimes when he is approached by Mendoza, an unconventional priest who believes these offenders are all linked to an ancient demonic force and have become possessed. Sarchie doesn’t believe in the supernatural but when clues lead them to the main offender, Santino, Sarchie’s beliefs are put to the test, especially when Mendoza performs an extremely intense exorcism, hopefully ridding him of the demon and helping Sarchie rediscover God.
