Joel Barish is a shy and depressed man who is very unsatisfied with his life, until he meets Clementine Kruczynski. Clementine is the complete opposite to Joel, loud, bright and a unique personality, after a while the two start dating but things fall to pieces and they eventually cant stand the sight of each other. The two both undergo a procedure to erase each other from their memories, but through the bizarre process of looking back over the history they shared Joel doesn’t want his memory wiped, but is it too late
