Based on the true story of a fatal Mt Everest climb during May 1996. Two expedition leaders Rob Hall and Scott Fischer join their two groups of climbers for the ascent towards the summit on May 10th, the trip is going well and most of the clients reach the very top, though on the way down an unexpected and fierce storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the entire area in a massive blizzard. All of the men are separated and left to find their own way back to camp while Rob is trapped near the very top and is running out of oxygen and time. Against nearly impossible odds the mountain spares very few lives while others are buried under blankets of snow already dead.
