Description:
During the Vietnam war new disc jockey Adrian Cronauer is brought over and hired as the new DJ to bring humour to the Armed Forces Radio. Adrian immediately becomes popular with the US soldiers with his quick witted comedy sketches over the radio but this draws the attention of the higher ups who think he isn’t appropriate enough for the show. While living in Vietnam Adrian meets a local girl and tries to win her over while also teaching her English class through his comedic flair. Soon Adrian has a few brushes with the real war which changes his perspective on his job at the station, trying to keep his job and friends in Vietnam will prove difficult for him as the higher up bosses in charge crack down on his antics.
