In 1930’s Paris young orphan Hugo Cabret lives in the walls of a train station, fixing the clockwork. Hugo’s father taught him how to fix and create things with machinery, including an automaton (mechanical man) left by his father for Hugo to fix with a secret message that will send him and his new friend Isabelle on an adventure through Paris to restore hope and fame to a man who has been forgotten by the world. With the uptight Station Inspector always on the look out for orphans Hugo will have to be careful.
