19-year-old Jay has a seemingly normal life, school, friends and boys, but after a sexual encounter with a boy named Hugh, Jay’s life changes. She begins seeing strange hunter-like people stalking her, slowly walking towards her in different forms constantly, it seems the stalker passes from person to person through sexual transmission, and if it reaches you it will kill you. Jay convinces her friends Paul and Yara of what she is seeing but they can hardly protect her as they cant see it, running or driving away buys some time but it always seems to be close behind. Jay must figure out a way to either pass on the curse or deal with it somehow, however with lack of sleep and constant paranoia, the task is seemingly impossible.
