Based on the true story of Reggie and Ronnie Kray, the notorious gangster twins who ruled London’s East End in the 1960’s. Reggie was a well to do club owner who fell in love with and married Frances Shea, a local girl, Ronnie was a mentally unstable and violent psychopath who Reggie had to constantly protect and keep under control. Throughout the 60’s their rise to power was growing fast though Frances couldn’t cope hardly seeing Reggie and his personality was changing, Ronnie was off the hook and couldn’t deal with work when his brother was away causing the police to eventuallygain the upper hand on the twins.
