Lolita

Middle-ages college Professor Humbert Humbert has recently arrived in the United States and has taken up residence as a tenet in the home of the widow Charlotte Haze. Humbert’s deciding factor in staying was Charlotte’s 14-year-old daughter Lolita, who has begun to take up all of his time. Humbert slowly and uncontrollably becomes infatuated with Lolita even though he knows its wrong, even to go so far as marrying Charlotte just to be close to her. When Humbert learns that Charlotte has sent Lolita away permanently he leaves to take Lolita and hit the road with her in order to be her sole guardian, though as Lolita grows older she takes an interest in other boys and hobbies that drive Humbert crazy until his love for her turns into obsession and control.
