Description:
Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo all live in the Central Park Zoo and are best friends. They love their lives especially Alex because he is seen as the King of the Zoo, But when Marty wants to go beyond the walls to see more of the world the rest of the animals dont agree with him. On Marty’s birthday he escapes, soon after a chase is on that leads the four friends not only on a rampage through a train station but takes them all the way to the remote island of Madagascar where they realise what life in the wild is really like.
