Frankie is out on her own in Hollywood, working a dead end bar job with her friend Jake, looking to be an aspiring YouTuber/filmmaker. When Frankie comes across Link, an eccentric young man working as a costumed mascot and no connection to the online world, she begins filming him and her videos soon become hits. Link is strongly against phones, social media and false images, however once he goes into business with Frankie, Jake and a social media manager his ego takes over and pushes him to his limits. Jake becomes disgusted with the way the show is heading and leaves, just as Link (now known as ‘No One Special’) takes his next video too far in order to gain back followers. Frankie has been blinded by Link and her feelings toward him, though eventually she cant ignore the signs, especially when Jake uncovers Link’s shady past.
