Mary and the Witch’s Flower

A Studio Ponoc Animation, Clumsy young redhead Mary Smith is stuck living in the country with her great-aunt Charlotte where there is little to do. One day Mary follows a mysterious cat into the nearby forest where she discovers and old broomstick and some glowing blue flowers called Fly-by-Night. After touching the flower Mary is filled with magical powers and the broomstick comes to life, transporting her into the sky and to a far away school of magic called Endor College. Led by the headmistress Madam Mumblechook and the brilliant Doctor Dee, Mary is believed to be an exceptional witch with superior power, though it is only because of the magic flowers. When Madam Mumblechook realises Mary has found the flower, a turn for the worst happens and her true nature shows as she desperately wants the Fly-by-Night for her secret experiments.
