Description:
The true story of Jim White, a football coach who moves with his family to McFarland in the mid 80’s after loosing his job. Jim takes a job as a P.E teacher in a local school but he realises none of his students are interested as they are being worked hard before and after school in the fields with their fathers. Jim realises how much speed and endurance these kids have when he sees them running to and from school each day and so he decides to start a cross-country team. Training these boys will prove difficult for Jim as they have a busy work schedule and are expected to grow upinto farmers like their parents, so the dream must become reality.
