Miss Julie

During a Midsummer night in 1890, Miss Julie roams her fathers Manor aimlessly. While her father is away on business, Miss Julie is alone with John the Valet and Kathleen the cook, John and Kathleen have a close relationship and talk about Miss Julie behind her back, meanwhile John has secretly been in love with her since childhood. Miss Julie enjoys tormenting John and takes pleasure in Kathleen’s jealousy, however things go too far this night and an unfixable mistake is made. John and Miss Julie plan their way out while trying not to arouse Kathleen’s suspicion, the fear of the Baron returning home the following day to discover the truth has the two sick with fear of the consequences and lack of sleep doesn’t help provide a better solution either.
