Cutthroat Lobbyist, Elizabeth Sloane, is the best in the business, winning many impossible cases, predicting her opponents moves and playing one step ahead. When Elizabeth is offered to head a bill that would expand background checks on gun purchases, she ridicules the idea and when approached by the rival lobbying firm headed by Rodolfo Schmidt, she takes half her staff and and leaves to support their bill. What seems like an unwinnable battle only pushes Elizabeth further and to a degree where loosing friends and colleagues will come at a cost with her end goal in mind. Three months later Miss Sloane is called to a congressional hearing to answer questions about possible violations of Senate ethics during the case, yet another situation that seems impossible to win, for one who doesn’t plan ahead.
