Two years after Ethan Hunt and the IMF put Solomon Lane away, the remnants of the syndicate have formed a smaller and more dangerous organization called the Apostles. Under the leadership of a mysterious unknown by the name of John Lark the Apostles are trying to acquire three plutonium cores to set off around the globe. After Ethan and his team fail to intercept them in Berlin the plutonium is in their hands and now the world is at risk of major population destruction. Paired with CIA Agent August Walker assigned to the team to watch Ethan, they must be quick and race all over the world trying to stop an indestructible bombs from being set off, with the highest stakes yet, this mission could finally be Ethan’s breaking point.
