In Ancient Polynesia, an adventurous young girl called Moana is determined to leave her home island to seek food and necessities for her dying island. Moana is in search of the famous Demigod Maui who caused the islands to start dying when he stole the heart of the Goddess, Te Whiti. Moana leaves her family and village to find Maui and convince him to join her in search across the pacific, but Maui has plans of his own.
