Years of female abductions have finally led to a breakthrough when former judge turned vigilante, Michael Cooper and his adopted daughter Lara bait a target and is kidnapped. Led to her captors home through a tracker, Detective Marshall discovers many of the girls including Lara trapped in an elaborate basement, and the suspect, a mentally disabled man called Simon Stulls. Even while Simon is in custody, the police find themselves under attack still, leading Marshall to believe Simon has many secrets. Under surveillance and questioning by psychologist Rachel Chase, Simon appears to have multiple personalities that could explain his violent outbursts and childlike behavior, but somehow the chaos ensues outside with Simon locked up.
