Nightcrawler

Lou Bloom is desperate for work, he is a quick learner and willing to do anything, that is when he stumbles on the underbelly of L.A crime journalism and freelance camera crews. After witnessing an accident Lou buys a camcorder and police radio monitor and begins his new career working for himself. After filming on the scene of a crime Lou’s work is bought by a news station and aired with the morning news. Lou continues filming crime scenes for the station but soon becomes too good at finding thecrimesto a point where he is filming during a crime. Lou blurs the line between observer and participant as hisnew job has become his obsession, every siren or police report is money in Lou’s mind and with his willingness to go as far as he can, he is the perfect nightcrawler.
