OJ and Em Haywood work at the Haywood’s Hollywood Horses Ranch, located in a lonely inland gulch in California, a place their father created for horses to be hired out for big Hollywood productions. After their father, Otis, dies from falling debris, OJ takes over the ranch. After witnessing strange behaviors from their horses, OJ notices a cloud in the distance that doesn’t move and has been still for days, at night the power fails and a mysterious object is seen sailing silently above the clouds and soon horses go missing. OJ and Em hire Angel, a tech salesman, to set up a top notch surveillance system to catch some footage they believe will make them famous, if it truly is a UFO. However after future events reveal the UFO could actually be more sinister than first thought, all the residents of the gulch are in increasing danger.
