New Orleans real estate developer Michael Courtland has his life shattered after his wife Elizabeth and daughter Amy are abducted and accidentally killed when the ransom delivery goes wrong. 15 years later Michael goes on a trip to Florence, Italy with his business partner Robert Lasalle, which is where he first met Elizabeth. While there Michael meets a girl in a church who looks exactly like Elizabeth, her name is Sandra. Michael becomes obsessed with Sandra, continually visiting her, taking her out on dates and encouraging her to act more like Elizabeth used to. It isn’t long before Michael brings Sandra back to New Orleans to marry him, but when events of the past begin happening again, the cracks start to show and Michael finds himself in yet another horrific circumstance.
