Parenthood

The story of the Buckman family and the ups and down through their family life. Watched over by parents Gil and Karen who struggle to look after their kids needs as well as balance a job and deal with estranged relatives. Gil’s parents are around often but not involved with the kids much, Gil’s brother Larry has returned from a shonky business deal and is in need for more cash for his new venture. Gil’s sister Helen is struggling to look after her two children after her divorce and now her daughter Julie is married to Tod, an easy going underachiever. Nathan and his wife are raising their daughter in an over-the-top academic way when she is only a few years old and Gil’s oldest son Kevin needs special attention which is proving hard as the days are filled with family chaos.
