Patch Adams

Based on the true story of Patch Adams who in the 1970’s became a medical student because he enjoys helping people, but he did things his own way. Patch didn’t like the way doctors treated their patients, he felt like making them laugh and enjoy life would help them more than medication though this was illegal seeing as he was still a student. The patients and hospital nurses appreciate Patch’s work but the medical school principal is completely against it. The time comes when Patch has to make the decision to either conform or go his own way and open his own hospital for the needy.
