Platoon

In 1967 during the Vietnam War, volunteer Chris Taylor arrives in South Vietnam as assigned to an infantry platoon near the Cambodian border. The platoon being under the command of two experienced subordinates, the psychotic Sgt Barnes and the more compassionate Sgt Elias, the two butt heads often leading to a split in the platoon and alliances tested. Chris is not coping well with the terrain, wildlife and heat as a new soldier but it isn’t long before he begins to fit in and not resemble the man he arrived as. When a full scale attack from the Vietcong occurs, Chris will have to keep his head and prepare for the worst as he is not only facing the enemy outside but inside his platoon as well.
