Porco Rosso

A Studio Ghibli Animation, In the early 1930’s in Italy a veteran World War I pilot known as Porco Rosso is on the run from a group of air pirates after saving Fio, a young girl, from their clutches. Porco was cursed to look like a pig and so it is easy for his fellow pilots to spot him. Porco’s rival Donald Curtis has sided with the pirates to hopefully catch the affections of Fio, though she is not interested. In the end Porco and Curtis must fight it out in the sky as everyone is betting on who will win or loose but if Porco looses Fio will have to marry Curtis.
