Description:
After moving with his parents to a new town, Jim Stark wonders the streets drunk and is picked up by the police at 3am. Being the new kid in town Jim is picked on the next day at school by a gang who slash his tire, force him into a knife fight and then challenge him to a ‘chickie’ run later that night. Jim feels the need to prove himself and he accepts the challenge but it ends in disaster. Throughout the night Jim is chased by members of the gangs while falling for their leaders girlfriend Judy, and trying to lookout for Plato, a loner kid who is picked on regularly. It is soon realized the problems going on in Jim, Judy and Plato’s lives are all directly related to their parents, who struggle to understand their children.
