During World War II in late 1944, Aatami Korpi lives alone with his horse and faithful terrier, where he prospects the Lapland wilderness for gold. After uncovering a rich gold deposit, Aatami digs it up and heads towards Rovaniemi, Finland. Along the way Aatami encounters a large SS platoon heading in the opposite direction, they are destroying villages and have several women captive. When the soldiers discover that Aatami has a bag of gold he becomes an immediate target, however they are unaware that Aatami is the legendary Finnish Army commando known as ‘the immortal’ a one-man death squad with a body count of over 300. Aatami is on the run, however his run-ins with SS soldiers always end in their brutal demise, even when it looks as though he has lost, he never gives up, doing everything within his power to keep the gold and end the lives of any who cross him.
