Somewhere in Time

Chicago playwright Richard Collier stays in a grand hotel where he becomes obsessed by an old actress in a photograph, Elise McKenna. Richard is determined to meet Elise who performed a play at the very hotel he is staying in back in 1912. Richard uses self-hypnosis to take himself back 68 years to the day when Elise performed in the hotel, when he arrives he searches for Elise with the intention of making her fall in love with him as he has already fallen for her. Elise’s manager William Fawcett Robinson is against Richard, believing he want to sabotage her promising career as an actress, but over time Elise falls in love with Richard and their lives are forever changed. Richard has to be careful as any indication of where he came from will take him back to real time and end his journey into the past forever.
