A soldier wakes up on a train and doesn’t know where he is or why people mistake him for a teacher called Shaun. Eight minutes pass and the train explodes due to a terrorist planted bomb, the soldier known as Colter Stevens wakes up to find he is part of a top secret government experiment where his conscience is sent back and forth to this train in order to find and disarm the bomb before it starts a chain reaction of explosions throughout the day. Colter has no help and must discover the terrorist, the bomb and his motives all within eight minute periods in order to stop this event from ever taking place. Meanwhile Colter is also trying to find out why he is the one for the mission and how he got where he is in the first place.
