Separate but interwoven stories involving four men who predicted the credit and housing bubble financial collapse in the late 2000’s. Eccentric one-eyed Scion Capital hedge fund manager Michael Burry predicted the collapse a few years early and catches the attention of Jared Vennett who believes he can cash in on Burry’s prediction. Mark Baum, a man fed up with the corruption and greed of the wealthy joins forces with Vennett even while he doesn’t trust him. Charlie Geller and Jamie Shipley are two new but minor players on the field with a $30 million garage company called Brownfield, they also follow Vennett’s idea but go thorough their neighbor and ex-investment banker Ben Rickert to get the ball rolling. This small group of men against the worlds wealthiest bankers and a corrupt housing scheme could make or break their lives.
