In search of a local legend known as the Blair Witch, three amateur filmmakers, Heather, Josh and Michael head out into the gloomy woods of Burkittsville with a couple of cameras to see what they can find. One year passes and there has been no sign of the teens but their raw footage has been discovered and put together in order to show what happened to them. What started out as a fun 2 day hike turns nightmarish when the trio get lost deep in the woods and start hearing wild noises in the night, getting worse each night and more desperate to get home each day, they struggle to stay sane and stay a team at the thought of running into the witch or dying out in the middle of nowhere.
