In the small country town of Centerville, police officers Cliff Robertson, Ronnie Peterson and Mindy Morrison spend their days following up calls on missing chickens and other minor events. Noticing that there is still daylight after 8pm Cliff and Ronnie find their phones also not working, the news reports continue talking on polar fracking and the earth tilting from its axis, but what does that matter. Apparently it mean the dead will reanimate and rise as zombies to create havoc. After two diner workers are killed viciously by the undead, Cliff and Ronnie come to terms with the truth and prepare for the oncoming slaughter. The samurai sword wielding funeral home owner Zelda, Farmer Frank, gas station attendant Bobby Wiggins and some young travelers join the party, but you cant forget, ‘Kill the head’.
