The Doors

Based on the true story of the legendary American 60’s rock band “The Doors” and their lead singer Jim Morrison. When Jim arrives in California in 1965 he tries to pursue a film-making career which quickly flops, however he soon discovers he has a talent for songwriting and singing. teaming up with friend and keyboardist Ray Manzarek, drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robby Krieger they form The Doors, and with Jim’s obsession with drugs, alcohol and death they write some of the most famous and poetic songs of their time, quickly shooting them to stardom. Over the next few years Jim quickly descends into madness through his excessive drug abuse, leading to wild concerts, broken friendships and a rocky relationship with his love Pamela Courson. Passing away at the young age of 27, we see the short and wild life of Jim Morrison through his rise to fame and fall into history.
