The Fugitive Kind

Val Xavier is a 30-year-old drifter on the run with only his beloved guitar and snakeskin jacket, looking to settle down and get away from the party scene Val finds himself in a small town where he gets a job in the local store. The store is run by Lady Torrence, an affection-starved woman who’s husband Jabe M. Torrence is dying of cancer in the upstairs of the store. Even though Val is pursued by the much youngerCarol Cutere, he has fallen for Lady Torrence and she has also fallen for him but with her menacing husband upstairs their relationship must be kept secret, that is until Lady realises she is pregnant.
