In a small Southern town in Georgia, widow Annie Wilson makes her living as a clairvoyant fortune-teller working from home, supporting her three sons. Many of her clients are locals with domestic issues, Buddy Cole is dealing with unresolved childhood trauma, Valerie Barksdale is dealing with her abusive husband Donnie. When Jessica King, the promiscuous fiancee of the local school’s principal Wayne Collins disappears, Annie has visions and dreams linked to what now looks to be a murder. The police have little to go on, so when Annie tells them where they can find Jessica’s body, the investigation blows up, could it have been Buddy or Donnie? or somebody else. Annie finds herself in serious trouble and must unveil the truth before she is stopped.
