The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

The elderly bearded sage, Doctor Parnassus, travels London with his near-broke theater troupe, including his teenage daughter Valentina, magician and barker Anton and dwarf assistant Percy. The main attraction is the ‘Imaginarium’ a mirror that transports guests into a portal of their own desires and offers them a choice. When the crew come across a strange man hanging under a bridge one night, they save him, the following day the man wakes up and cant remember who he is. After discovering his name is Tony, he joins the troupe, against Anton’s wishes, and helps persuade citizens in. Doctor Parnassus’ history comes back to haunt him when Mr. Nick (practically the Devil) arrives to collect Valentina, as their ancient history has been built on immortal bets, most of which Parnassus lost. With the help of Tony, the troupe must beat Mr. Nick in one final bet to save Valentina or loose themselves forever.
