We follow the life of Irish hit-man Frank Sheeran who learned to kill during the second World War and never stopped. Under the guidance and protection of the infamous mob-man Russell Bufalino and the Bufalino crime family, Frank recalls his career as a gangster and his possible involvement in the disappearance of his life-long friend and union leader Jimmy Hoffa who dissapeared in the mid 70’s. As time goes on Frank’s family distance themselves from him and he becomes an old lonely man with hidden secrets, no family or friends and a fast approaching grave, the lifestyle of a gangster proves to be much darker and deadlier than the typically glamorized visions originally presented.
