Description:
Rupert Pupkin is an aspiring stand-up comic who thinks he’s got what it takes to be on the late night talk show hosted by his idol Jerry Langford. After confronting Jerry numerous times Rupert is let down by Jerry’s lack of interest in his material, Jerry doesn’t want to know him and passes him of as just another fan boy. Eventually Rupert teams up with unstable stalker Masha to kidnap Jerry so Rupert can get on the show in hopes of finally getting to perform and become famous. In the words of Rupert himself “Better to be King for a night than schmuck for a lifetime”
