The Last Temptation of Christ

This film is not based on the gospel truth but on a fictional tale of what it may have been like if Jesus the Son of God was all human and faced everyday temptations as regular humans do. This tale depicts Jesus as a struggling man who feels as though he is not good enough or holy enough to understand God and to carry out his will, he doesn’t want to die on the cross, he only wants a normal life. Jesus mission is near complete when he discovers the last temptation of all, we see what the world would be like if he didn’t die on the cross for our sins and so does he, followed and surrounded by sin and evil he realizes what he truly must do. The Last Temptation of Christ is a fictional tale based on the Bible characters and none of it should be taken as the truth but just as a fictional film.
